General Dog Requirements

1. Your dog must be people friendly

2. Your dog must have a collar and name tag

3. Your dog should NOT be in heat

4. Your dog should be in good health

5. Your dog should not be overtly anxious

What to Bring

• Leash
• Collar with name tag
• Vaccine records (if you have not shared digitally)
• Food (enough for duration of stay). We prefer to keep your dog on the same diet for consistency in bowels. If your dog runs out of food, we can order additional from Petco / PetSmart but there is an additional service fee of $15
• Medications (we cannot administer any medications via needle)
• Toys (optional)
• Bedding (optional)
• Treats. It’s highly encouraged that parents bring their own pup’s treats.

Cage-Free Daycare Requirements (if your dog is eligible)

Just like humans, not all dogs are good socially with other dogs. They must meet our requirements

1. Dog should be 12+ weeks old
2. Male dogs should be neutered by 7 months. Female dogs should be spayed per Vet recommendation, but their participation in daycare may be limited depending on behavior
3. Dogs must pass our 4 hour evaluation, where we evaluate dogs based on:
   1. Human Interaction (e.g., meeting, handling, obedience)
   2. Dog Greetings (e.g., body posture, excitement, anxiety)
   3. Open Play Behavior (e.g., play style, stress level)
4. See List of Breeds not allowed in daycare (While we love all dogs, our insurance will not cover all breeds)

Breed Restrictions - Daycare

Feeding Notes

• If you could pre-pack each meal into individual Ziploc baggies, we would love it!
• House of Woof does not cook food, although we can heat food in a microwave
• Dogs are fed in separate spaces to maintain safety. After eating, we will keep the dog in their space for 30-60 minutes to allow for proper digestion
• Treats will only be distributed during feeding times, we do not give treats during daycare hours as to minimize chance of injury
• If your dog runs out of food, we can order additional from Petco / PetSmart but there is an additional service fee of $15

Check In / Check Out

• Check out time is before noon (12pm) the day of pick-up. If your dog does check-out past noon, you will be charged a daytime fee of $40 for the 1st dog and $20 for each additional. Overnight dogs may be picked-up after closing hours for an additional fee.
• We ask that dogs being checked in do so at least 1 hour before closing 6pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends
